The venue for the 11/29/71 Led Zeppelin concert was the Liverpool Stadium, not the Liverpool Empire.

Is this because the Empire isn't a real venue or was this performance just at a different venue? What about the show in January of 73?

They were two different venues. The 1/14/73 show was performed at the Liverpool Empire. Here's the Liverpool Empire:   Here's the Liverpool Stadium (which was used for boxing as well):

I can confirm this information, as it was the first concert I ever went to. The Stadium was an absolute dump, but was great for concerts, as the management didn't really care what anyone did, so there was no security etc at all.
