Good evening. You might say welcome to the Forum because it's getting a bit like our front room. You know what I mean? We;;, as this is the last night out of six nightsnights out of seven, we're gonna do our best to play, and it looks like until we fall over.

Well it's been a long long long time here in LA. It seems to, what's going on with these monitors here? There making really funny sounds. Take some of the top off, will ya? This is a song that we might say ah, a song of ah, a man looking for different ideals to try and sort his own ideals out. It comes from a little way back.

Thank you. You see how as the tour progresse it goes from tequilla to beer and finally to tea. It's bad news. This is a song about ah, a little bit of distress in a relationship as is usually the case. This one's for ah, I guess we'll dedicate this one for a good friend of ours, JJ Jackson, that famous disc jockey that you all know and love. It's called Since I've Been Loving You.

Jimmy Page on guitar there. James PAtrick. Well I guess this is the last time round that we're gonna be featuring ah, at least for awhile the very nimble fingers in fact the very sneaky nimble fingers, in fact the man who went to sleep last night with some strawberry tart in the pocket of his jeans, John Paul Jones No Quarter.

Before: Ten Years Gone
John Paul Jones grand piano, John Paul Jones. Ahh, good evening. I see so many faces I 've seen before, it's unbelievable. How are you doing, alright? It's rather like when you start rehearsing and you sort of keep looking at each other and goind, Didn't we play in a band together once? John Paul Jones has safely got the strawberry tart out of his pocket now and he also got it out of his hair. He woke up with a half a tin of sardines by his nose so he had a really nice pleasant sleep last night, and so it's with great pleasure that we intriduce him with his three necked instrument, which is why we're so envious of him, and the same to you. For a man who always stayed in the background he's getting a lot of strawberry pie. This is a song about ah, it's about a love afair. It's a proper love song, I guess. It's called Ten Years Gone.

Thank you. Ten Years Gone. Very nice. One, two. I've had my stool sawed in half. See the fresh saw marks there? You see that? That's what comes from working with the same road crew year after year. Smart Ass, gimme me stool. Hey, that's better. This brings us to the part of the set now that we are almost relieved to get to after eleven weeks on the road. We have a sit down, and ceding to the pressures of life on the road we bring to the front of the stage Mr. John Bonham, who's busy talking to the man who pays his wages. Here's a song that's very reminiscent of somewhere where we're gonna be in about twenty four hours time. It's a place called England. You remember England? At least you got the language anyway. Here's John Bonham having two cigarettes in decadence.

That's a great, who's got that funny whistle? That's fantastic. Not that funny whistle, the other one. Alright, I think we've had enough of them for a bit please/ Thank you. Here's Raymond with another cigarette from Scotland. This is a song that's probably a lot dearer to your hearts cause it was with great intent and lots of desires to find badgeholders that the song was in fact written. So this is for every Californian badgeholder we've ever had.

How about that? We haven't done Dancing Days for five years. I don't think we will again either. Well the doctor said this afternoon we'd be all right in time. Right.

Strange note here. I can't even read it to you cause it's very uncool. Well, I guess this next song we should really dedicate to a man who's ah, always out of the limelight. A man who always has many badgeholders and in fact keeps us standing up. I wonder if I should in fact even do it. To the good doctor.

Thank you very much. This next piece features ah, a man who is a man who leads a very quiet sort of life. A man who you'd like to share a room with in a hotel. He takes the one side and you take the other. Our very warm and close friend John Bonham. Over the Top.

Was that Keith Bonham on the drums there? It's most peculiar to walk away from the microphone one minute and come back and find it's covered in honey. This is obviously the last night of the tour. As you can probably tell, it's been great. Six days, Six concerts in LA. It's been, it's been a mind bender.

Thank you very much LA. It's been ah, quite an amazing week. Good night, and see you again one day. Now you know the truth. Before we continue we'd like to thank you for being ah, a great audience. Sincerely, no bull shit. A bunch of geriatrics like us, it's reallu hard work, you know? We'd also like to thank ah, all the members of the cast. The full supporting cast has been ah, oh excuse me. The sound and lighting crew, Showco, very good sound system as you heard. Every night it's no good in the acoustic set, but the rest of it is great. Benji Lefevre from England who does all the funny noises, Ray Thomas from Scotland who can't tune guitars. Mick Hinton who was a bus conductor in Cambridge who can't tune drums, Brian who's covered in 7up and all the people in the wings there who've been making rude gestures for the last six days, and most of all the badgeholders of California.

Thank you very very very much. It's been great. Never ever thought that we'd come back, but we've been back, and we shall come back again, I think. It's been great. We should really know you all by your first, by your first names by now, but we don't so next time. Good night, and as the sun sets on the west, thank you love. Good night.
