Huge space featured a fluorescent miniplayground with a kid's slide at one end, slanting "body racks" to lie on and relax, and shops and amusement stalls dispensing mod clothing and body paint.
The building was torn down and replaced with condos.
Not to be confused with the "original" Electric Factory, a "new" Electric Factory in Philadelphia opened in October 1995 at 421 N. 7th Street between Willow and Spring Garden Streets.
