One of the first musical tent theaters in the United States. It was a theater 'in-the-round' and had a circular blue canvas tent which crowned the saucer-like arena. There were 18 concentric rows of seats, the last of which was less than 50 feet from the stage, offering an intimate setting for shows.

The site of the Musicarnival is now a parking lot for Thistledown Race Track (which had been expanded after Musicarnival closed).
